Me & 3 Benedict Cumberbatch Movies

I absolutely adore this actor, Benedict Cumberbatch. I don’t know what it is, I love his voice, but everything about him just fascinates me. His show “Sherlock” is an addiction for me, but he also has a bunch of great films. So I decided to watch three movies with Benedict Cumberbatch.

Amazing Grace
Genre: Drama
Year: 2006
Director: Michael Apted
Cast: Ioan Gruffudd, Albert Finney, Benedict Cumberbatch, Romola Garai, Michael Gambon, Rufus Sewell, Toby Jones
Description: The idealist William Wilberforce (Ioan Gruffudd) maneuvers his way through Parliament, endeavoring to end the British transatlantic slave trade.
Opinion: A story to goes to your heart. It’s an overlooked film, not many people have seen it I think. It’s a beautiful story, well made into a movie.
Favorite character: William Wilberforce (Ioan Gruffudd)
Most memorable quote: “No matter how loud you shout, you will not drown out the voice of the people!” –William Wolberforce-
Best scene: Where the two best friends William Wilberforce and William Pitt are racing eacht other.

Star Trek Into Darkness
Genre: Science Fiction/ Action
Director: J.J. Abrams
Cast: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Peter Weller, Bruce Greenwood
Description: After the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization, Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one-man weapon of mass destruction.
Opinion: It’s better than the first and you might even like it when you’re not a “Star Trek” fan. I especially liked Benedict Cumberbatch as a villain, which makes it the strongest point of the film.
Favorite character: John Harisson aka Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch)
Most memorable quote: “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”. –Spock-
Best scene: The moment where Kirk is interrogating John Harisson for the first time.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Genre: Drama/ Mystery/ Thriller
Year: 2011
Director: Tomas Alfredson
Cast: Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, John Hurt, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hardy, Toby Jones, Stephen Graham, Ciarán Hinds
Description: In the bleak days of the Cold War, espionage veteran George Smiley (Gary Oldman) is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6.
Opinion: What an interesting spy thriller. It captivated me from beginning ‘till end. Although it’s a bit slow, it didn’t bore me one second.
Favorite character: George Smiley (Gary Oldman)
Most memorable quote: “It's the oldest question of all, George. Who can spy on the spies?” -Oliver Lacon-
Best scene: Where Peter Guillaim is trying to smuggle documents out of the archive. It was a nail biting scene.
Favorite of the 3: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
